Why CHCP
We are a Nationally ABHES Accredited Allied Healthcare College
The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). CHCP provides students with training in their selected allied healthcare field by providing instructor demonstration and hands-on operation of equipment and practice of learned techniques in its programs. CHCP's -mission is for students to gain the knowledge, technical proficiency, and skills needed for entry-level positions in an allied healthcare field while supporting their career goals.
CHCP Accreditations and Regulations:
- CHCP is proud to be accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
- Our Diagnostic Medical Sonography Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Austin and Fort Worth are programmatically accredited by CAAHEP.
- CHCP Programs are approved and regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission's Career Schools and Colleges Division.
- CHCP is authorized by the United States Department of Education for participation in certain Title IV HEA programs (Pell Grant and Federal Direct Student and Parent Loan Programs).
- CHCP's Limited Medical Radiologic Technology Programs are approved and regulated by the Texas Medical Board.
- CHCP is regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for the Massage Therapy Program.
- CHCP is an approved vendor of the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS).
- CHCP is an approved provider of educational training services for the Texas Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA).
- CHCP is approved by the Texas Veterans Commission to train eligible veterans under Title 38.
