Houston, TX (September 14, 2012) – The College of Health Care Professions CEO Jon Emerald announced today that David Beckford has been named Campus President of the school’s recently opened Fort Worth, Texas campus.

“I am pleased to announce that David Beckford has accepted the role of campus president of CHCP Fort Worth,” said Emerald. “David is an extremely talented leader and educator. We are lucky to have him.”

Beckford has been tasked with the responsibility of opening and launching four Allied Health programs - Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Information Technology and Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist.

“My number one priority is to only hire individuals who are passionate about helping students attain their career goals,” said Beckford. “As Eleanor Roosevelt famously said; ‘The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.’”

Mr. Beckford has worked for institutions of higher education for over 11 years and has held leadership positions for 10 of those years such as Director of Admissions, Director of Education, Executive Director and Campus President. He is passionate about successful outcomes for all students and takes an active role in creating the environment that leads to high student satisfaction ratings. The College of Health Care Professions campus located in Fort Worth, Texas is the third campus that he has opened in his career. He takes great pride in planting the seed to success, nurturing it and watching successful growth.

“As Campus President, I plan to maintain a focus on ensuring a quality learning environment, while maintaining high regulatory standards,” Beckford said.

Mr. Beckford received a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University and holds a master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Global Technology Management from American InterContinental University.
