CHCP Successfully Meeting Local Employment Needs

The College of Health Care Professions is successfully meeting local employment needs through the implementation of new technology resources and a blended education program.

 In September 2017, the Texas Workforce Commission reported that the Texas economy had reduced the unemployment rate to 4.5 percent, however, the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) area scored the highest on the unemployment rate for the month of August in the entire state.
