CHCP's Eric Bing Presents at US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s TPM Summer Webinar

Eric Bing Presents at US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s TPM Summer Webinar

August 04 2022

Today Eric Bing, Chancellor of The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP), was featured on the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s TPM Academy Summer Webinar to showcase the impact of CHCP’s efforts to give adult learners flexible career pathways into the healthcare field. Eric highlights how providing stackable credentials, extended wrap-around support, externship programs, and job placement assistance have created upward mobility for many underserved people and their families, especially Hispanic learners who make up 57% of the student population but graduate at a 78 percent rate and have a job placement rate of 80% among CHCP graduates.

“We have various kinds of adults from all backgrounds who attend CHCP and require different needs in order to succeed in our programs. We know that colleges are built to provide solutions, not create additional barriers for families trying to scale their careers in healthcare.”
