Higher Learning Advocates Executive Director & CHCP Chancellor’s featured in Diverse: Issues In Higher Education; share insights around strategies to improve outcomes for today’s students

On April 18th, Julie Peller, Executive Director of Higher Learning Advocates, and Eric Bing, Chancellor of the College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) co-authored a piece in Diverse: Issues In Higher Education titled “Today’s College Students Aren’t Who You Think They Are. Institutions Must Rethink How They Serve Them.” In the piece, they highlight the shifts in today’s student population and how every learner, especially those from households in the bottom 20% of all income earners, deserves a personalized approach to their educational journey. To address the shifts in the student body today, Julie and Eric identify three strategies college leaders should embrace to improve outcomes for today’s learners.
