The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) celebrated the opening of its third Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex campus in Garland, Texas. This expansion, located at 630 W. I-30, marks the tenth CHCP campus statewide and responds directly to the increasing demand for healthcare professionals in North Texas. The new campus offers programs in Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, and Health & Medical Administrative Services (HMAS) to address local workforce shortages in healthcare.

With over six million Texans in healthcare shortage areas, CHCP’s mission is critical to supporting the region’s healthcare pipeline. The Garland campus provides accessible training options, especially valuable for working students balancing jobs and family. "Our expansion aims to empower students with hands-on training, helping them embark on rewarding healthcare careers," said CHCP Chancellor Eric Bing.

With enrollment capacity for over 300 students, CHCP is committed to meeting the DFW region’s need for skilled healthcare workers. Learn more about the new campus in the Dallas Business Journal or the full press release on the announcement.
