The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) was recently highlighted by Ruffalo Noel Levitz (RNL) for the results of a survey issued to fully online learners across the nation. The Priorities Survey for Online Learners (PSOL), recently surveyed fully online CHCP students and found that CHCP exceeded the national average in all student response categories administered by RNL related to student engagement and student success.

In particular, the PSOL survey highlighted CHCP's strengths with course convenience, excellent online instruction and accessible online career services being strengths to CHCP.

  • 72% of students reported that the CHCP college experience is better than they expected, much higher than the national average of only 41%.
  • 82% of students say that they are satisfied with their experience, with 61% very satisfied compared to 72% as the national average.
  • 85% say that if they were to do it all over again, they would still pick CHCP as their school of choice compared to the national average response at 81%

"CHCP is committed to listening and understanding online learners, as they seek a fully online experience that can revolve around their life and goals," said Jon Patterson, President of Online / Digital Services & Strategic Partnerships at CHCP. "National surveys like this from RNL are critical levers to ensuring our institution can respond to each learner's dynamic and unique needs. We are excited to see the results of the PSOL survey and look forward to continuing to help aspiring professionals achieve their career objectives."

This survey comes on the heels of the Rice University School Mathematics Project (RUSMP) study published last fall that found Hispanic Learners at CHCP (during the time study) had a 78% graduation rate and 80% job placement rate - both well above the national average.
