We’re proud to share that Krystal Dispennette, an alumna and current instructor at The College of Health Care Professions’ San Antonio campus, has been named the 2025 Master Teacher of the Year by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and Elsevier.

A graduate of CHCP’s Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) program, Krystal exemplifies the strength of stackable credentials and holistic support. As a teenage mom turned nationally recognized educator, her story is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when education meets learners where they are.

“Krystal embodies the spirit of CHCP,” said Rosina Perez, President of CHCP San Antonio. “She understands the real-life challenges many of our students face and brings compassion and drive into every lesson.”

Krystal presented her innovative teaching practices at the 21st Annual National Conference on Allied Health Education, where she was celebrated alongside leading voices in healthcare education.

Congratulations, Krystal—and thank you for everything you do to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals!
