Thinking about pursuing a career as a certified rehabilitation therapy technician? At The College of Health Care Professions, our Rehabilitation Therapy Technician certificate program is the first step toward this certification and a role serving the physical and mental health and well-being of others.

Working under the supervision of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physicians or other licensed rehabilitation professionals, rehab therapy technicians treat and support the short and long-term outcomes of patients recovering from injury or adapting to trauma or disability. Skills necessary for this job include advanced client relations skills as well as a high level of organization in order to successfully navigate administrative duties such as client paperwork processing and maintaining a client schedule.

With a rehabilitation therapy technician certificate from CHCP, you will be prepared to pursue a vital role in settings such as outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, chiropractic offices, physician offices and many others. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics*, job openings for rehab therapy technicians are projected to grow 29 percent by 2029—a much faster than average pace.

Complete the program on campus in 36 weeks.
