Dental assistants are on the front line of oral health, helping dentists with a number of different treatments and procedures. Every day, these certified dental assistants are tasked with taking dental radiographs, implementing tooth impressions for study casts, preparing dental equipment, providing oral care instructions to patients, and much more.

And these dental health professionals are in demand. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics*, job openings for dental assistants are projected to grow 7 percent from 2019 - 2029—almost twice the 3.7 percent projected growth rate for all occupations total.
