Dental Assistant Program in Austin

The Dental Assistant Program offered at CHCP’s Austin campus is designed to help you get the education needed to start your career as a dental assistant. In this role, you will provide compassionate care for patients undergoing orthodontia and dental procedures. Your dental assistant certificate program covers front-office procedures as well as clinical tasks such as taking dental x-rays. CHCP also has a modern dental lab here in Austin. Within our lab, you will learn how to support dentists with procedures like fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals.

Once you complete your Austin-based Dental Assistant Certificate Program from CHCP, you will be prepared to take your certification exam  and move forward to obtaining your state-registered dental assistant x-ray certification through the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.

Become a Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant Program offered at CHCP’s Austin campus will prepare you for a career as a medical assistant. A medical assistant completes administrative, procedural, and certain clinical tasks in a healthcare settings and serves as a liaison between patients, insurance companies, providers, and specialists.
