If you’ve already completed a diploma or certificate in addiction studies and mental health, CHCP’s fully online Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree Completion Program gives you the opportunity to advance your education and help prepare for more responsibility in the behavioral health field.

This 32-week program is designed to help students build on their existing training, adding essential general education coursework and advanced behavioral health topics such as developmental psychology, counseling theory, and ethics. Whether your goal is to meet new job requirements, strengthen your credentials, or lay the groundwork for future growth, this degree completion path can help you move forward—while you continue working in the field you care about.

This degree completion program includes 36 semester credits from your previously completed, approved certificate or diploma program, combined with 24 credits of general education and core coursework. The stackable format helps you maximize your prior experience and potentially reduces the time and cost required to earn your associate degree.

To be eligible for the bridge credit, applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and must have successfully completed an externship or clinical practicum of at least 3 semester credits.
