Be a helping hand in long term care facilities with a Nurse Aide Certificate from CHCP McAllen!
Nurse Aide Program Length: 8 Weeks
The nursing field is growing and we are excited to start you on the path to assisting others as a nurse aide. We are now enrolling for our Nurse Aide Certificate in the Rio Grande Valley at our McAllen Texas Campus. Through our comprehensive lecture and clinical training, Nurse Aide students will learn person – centered basic care of residents in long term care centers and how to provide safety and preventative measures in the care of residents. Graduates will also be able to communicate and interact with residents and their families with sensitivity to the physical, social, and mental needs of residents.
Through the program you will also become CPR certified and participate in clinical rotation in a long term care facility or related location to apply the skills learned throughout the program.
