Dear Graduates,

Let me begin by letter to you by citing the famous Mr. Frank Sinatra:

And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain

I've lived a life that's full
I've traveled each and every highway
But more, much more than this
I did it my way

Never have these lyrics been more applicable to the situation that what you are experiencing now. A time where relief, excitement, anticipation and a strong case of the butterflies in your stomach are all mixed up and running wild through your minds it is easy to overlook the one obvious thing. You made it! You did what many set out to do but only a few accomplish. You are on turning the page to a new chapter in the book of your life. You have family, friends and loved ones who have supported you the entire way that I know could not be more proud of you.

You have faculty and staff that have seen you develop over the course of your studies both professionally and academically. All these people know without a doubt that you have acquired the skills to become something truly incredible. You should know this as well. The dreams and goals that were once a far of and distant thing have come ever much closer. Here comes the time when it’s your time. It’s your time to shine, your time to rise and meet the world head on. Remember this feeling, the feeling of accomplishment, because if you remain as focused as you have been to get to this point, that feeling will be something you will get used to experiencing throughout the remainder of your life. We are humbled and honored to be a part of the chapter you are closing and look forward with eagerness to be an even larger part of your next chapter.

Once again, congratulations on achieving this HUGE milestone.
