The College Of Health Care Professions Announces Four New Courses To Be Offered At Fort Worth Campus

Health Information Technology, Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist, Medical Assistant Training, & Dental Assistant Training Programs Available At CHCP Fort Worth Campus

Houston, TX (August 2, 2012) The College of Health Care Professions CEO Jon Emerald announced today that the school is now offering four allied healthcare training programs at its Fort Worth location - Health Information Technology, Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist, Medical Assistant Training, and Dental Assistant Training,.

“CHCP will now offer four of the college’s most popular health care training programs at the new Fort Worth campus,” said Emerald.

Consisting of in-depth lectures, labs, and hands-on clinical work, all of CHCP’s programs give students the training necessary to advance their health care careers.

The Medical Coding and Billing program prepares students for successful careers in fields such as, medical coders, data analysts, health record technicians, ER and outpatient coders, claims processors/auditors, HIM Technicians and medical office specialists among others.

The Limited Medical Radiologic Technology AAS Degree program offers students hands-on training in many areas of radiology which will prepare them to pass the Texas state licensing exam after graduation, opening the door to a radiology technician career at a hospital, chiropractor’s office, medical office, or digital imaging center.

The Medical Assistant Training program prepares students for the challenging and rewarding career of a medical assistant, helping doctors and patients in different health care settings, including medical offices and specialties like sports medicine, pediatrics, and OB/GYN.

The Dental Assistant Training program prepares students for job opportunities as dental assistants, dental administrative assistants, dental billing clerks, chair-side assistants, dental collection assistants, and dental receptionists.

The College of Health Care Professions also offers an online degree program, where students have the independence to advance their careers around busy schedules. Students enrolled in an online program have 24/7 access to coursework and 24/7 IT support when necessary. Students who choose to receive online training are assigned a Student Services Advisor who provides individualized and personalized service.
