CHCP Events | When I Grow Up Expo

On Saturday, April 22^nd, The College of Health Care Professions joined over 100 local exhibitors at the When I Grow Up Expo, a day dedicated to career exploration in high-demand, high-growth industries.

This is the 5^th year that the Houston Independent School District’s Career Readiness department has conducted the event to spread awareness and demonstrate skills of a variety of careers in our region including healthcare. CHCP students, faculty and staff volunteers conducted blood pressure and glucose readings on site and educated guests about the importance of preventative monitoring and the growing career opportunities in the healthcare industry.
