CHCP Events | Employer Partnership Scholarship: San Antonio

On Friday, May 12^th, in a collaborative effort, The College of Health Professions was proud to partner with Southwest General Hospital to present two Employer Partnership Scholarships.  Jim Benitez, Director of Radiology for Southwest General along with San Antonio Campus President Rene Candelaria awarded 2 students from South San Antonio High School with scholarships to the College of Health Care Professions.  The scholarship will allow both students the opportunity to attend the program of their choice and begin an education in the healthcare field. 

Southwest General Hospital and CHCP have had a long standing relationship that has resulted in many CHCP graduates becoming employed with the hospital.  The students were very excited to learn about their selection and are eager to start attending once they have graduated.
