Austin Open House

On Saturday, June 17, 2017, The College of Health Care Professions in Austin hosted an Open House for students, staff, and community members to celebrate the grand opening of its new location. As CHCP’s 3^rd location, they recently moved to a location at 6330 East Highway 290, Ste 180. The new campus sits directly along Highway 290, with quick access to Highway I-35 and US-183. The new location features room for their expanding programs such as Dental Assistant, Limited Radiologic Technologist, and Pharmacy Technician.

This event was open to the public and featured a DJ, a balloon artist, lawn games, and other fun for kids of all ages. Guests were served barbecue prepared on site and enjoyed snow cones from a local shaved ice truck.

Of the list of family-friendly activities, they also supported the community by featuring a We Are Blood donation van on site. The van took donations throughout the day to support the over 50-year-old central Texas Blood donation center.
