The CHCP Fort Worth campus provided a generous donation to long-time partner My Health My resources (MHMR) of Tarrant County for their MHMR Foundation.

MHMR has been a provider of quality mental health and intellectual and developmental disability services in Tarrant County since its inception in 1969 and is the second-largest community center in Texas. They have been partnered with CHCP since 2014 and have conducted mass interviews to employ our graduates.

With this donation CHCP brings hope, dignity and independence to the more than 65,000 people MHMR serves each year. Additionally, CHCP is proud to partner with an organization that not only provides community resources but allows our graduates opportunities to gain employment to achieve their career goals and grow within their company. David Beckford, campus president for CHCP Fort Worth Campus (right), and Chalee Rivers, MHMR Director of Outpatient Medical Services, have worked together since 2018 to place medical assistant students with MHMR. The MAs help fill the agency’s growing need for job-ready professionals. Chalee is a member of the college’s board of directors.

As a leader in health care education and training, CHCP helps students develop the skills they need to meet the demands of today's healthcare industry. Just as important, CHCP maintains relationships with health care providers to place students in the right career with growth potential.
