This week, Real Clear Education published an op-ed by Eric Bing, CHCP’s CEO, and Marie Cini, Chief Strategy Officer, ED2WORK discussing how institutions must quickly adapt to the “new normal” that has come with the global pandemic and how they can implement best practices such as project-based learning, stackable short-term certificate programs, and prior learning assessment (PLA). In the piece, Eric and Marie highlight needed changes in higher education to better serve the students who need postsecondary education the most. They note that while the shifts needed may seem large, colleges and universities can take a variety of smaller steps to meet the needs of students they now serve.
