Today the College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) officially announced the opening of the new Med Center Campus, which was featured today in the Houston Chronicle and Community Impact Newspaper. The new campus, located at 2616 South Loop W Ste. 201, Houston, is the college’s fourth in the Greater Houston area, offering short-term programs designed to prepare working learners for fast-growing health care jobs in the region, including many on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The CHCP Houston Med Center campus's proximity to the Texas Medical Center will help learners access the hands-on experience needed to provide high-quality care, and allow us to continue to develop close-knit partnerships with employers," said Eric Bing, chief executive officer of CHCP. "This is about enabling more aspiring professionals to not only pursue long-term career pathways, but also work as frontline healthcare heroes from day one."

Offerings at the new campus include certificates for dental and medical assistants and medical coding and billing, as well as an Associate of Applied Science program for health and medical administrative services.
