Today, WorkingNation ran a feature story on the role of allied health professionals during the COVID-19 crisis, highlighting CHCP as, “a program designed to address the needs of employers and students.” The article discusses how CHCP has transitioned its courses to online while maintaining the flexibility and support needed to allow students to graduate and find careers in in-demand allied health professions.

The article includes thoughts from CHCP CEO Eric Bing as to how to meet the needs of both students and employers, as well as insight from graduate Jordesha Turner. Jordesha, a single parent facing homelessness, describes her experience and success, leading her to work full time as an EKG technician.  She notes, “everyone (at CHCP) has played a role in my success. My certification allowed me to get a higher-paying job, and CHCP helped me become stable for my family...that is a huge blessing and it’s very appreciated.”
